What exactly is Hydrafacial?
With the Hydrafacial treatment, we use patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin.
This treatment removes impurities, fine lines, rough skin texture, dead skin cells, and improves pigmentation by enriching the skin with nutrients derived from botanical ingredients:
- Hyaluronic acid
- Horse chestnut seed extract
- Red algae extract
- Copper
- Zinc and magnesium peptides
Hydrafacial also delivers powerful antioxidants that combat damage caused by free radicals — pollution, sun exposure, and stress — which all negatively impact the skin and accelerate the aging process.

HOW DO WE WORK?
Intake interview
After we have discussed the necessary information about what your skin needs during an intake interview, we will invite you to take a seat on our comfortable treatment table.
Step 1
CLEANSING AND PEELING
We start by deeply cleansing the skin using lactic acid and glucosamine. These ingredients help loosen the dead skin cells held together by “cement-like” layers. The serum softens these lipids. Then we scrape the skin with the special tip, removing dead cells that make your skin appear dull and grey.
Next, we peel the skin using a combination of glycolic and salicylic acid, which opens the pores and loosens impurities. You may feel a mild tingling, but it’s not painful. For the first session, we use a mild peel; for future sessions, a stronger peel may be used depending on your needs.

Step 2
EXTRACTION AND HYDRATION
All impurities, makeup residue, and toxins in your pores are now loosened. We apply stronger vacuum suction to clear the pores while simultaneously hydrating the skin. If you repeat the Hydrafacial every 4 weeks, you’ll notice deeper cleansing and that impurities return more slowly. Over time, pores also appear smaller due to healthy cell renewal.
Step 3
INFUSION AND PROTECTION
Hydrafacial uses a patented infusion system to deliver skin boosters and serums deep into the skin without causing damage. These products contain powerful antioxidants that provide advanced protection.
Did you know that UV rays from the sun are the #1 cause of skin aging? That’s why it’s crucial to apply antioxidants and SPF daily. When your skin is protected, it looks healthier and more radiant.
From our collection of serums we also use hyaluronic acid which binds up to a thousand times its own mass of moisture, it is therefore a super moisture binder and ensures a better moisture balance (hydration) in your skin. This serum can also give a slight tingling as the antioxidants begin to attack the toxins in your skin. These toxic substances are also called free radicals. They cause your skin to age faster, so the tingling you feel now is positive. In addition to all this, it is important that you drink good water or eat water such as watermelon, cucumber etc. Avoid coffee, tea or soft drinks but only water.
Step 4
AFTER THE TREATMENT
Now the skin is well-saturated with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, and we focus on protecting it from external elements. We apply a cream rich in antioxidants.
You may still feel tingling sensations.
You will immediately notice a remarkable glow and baby-soft skin. Some redness may appear but will fade quickly.
Before leaving, make sure to apply sunblock (SPF). This is provided free of charge at our clinic.
VISIBLE DEAD SKIN CELLS
We’ll show you the waste container so you can see everything removed from your skin – dead cells, blackheads, toxins, and everything that doesn’t belong in healthy skin.
TIP
For the best results, we recommend that you repeat this treatment every 4 weeks to 6 weeks. Because after 28 days, the skin cells renew themselves and your skin starts to clog again due to all kinds of dirty substances/cells. The treatment is completely painless and immediately gives a beautiful visible and tangible result.
You must not undergo other treatments like laser hair removal, IPL, or chemical peels within 14 days after a Hydrafacial.

First time?
Intake interview and advice.
During your first visit to Med Clinic in Antwerp Wilrijk , an extensive intake interview will take place, possibly together with a skin scan. This scan shows the deeper layers of the skin so that we can give more targeted advice and offer better solutions. After the skin scan, a treatment plan is drawn up, the necessary home care is given and a possible follow-up appointment is scheduled.
