In depth
Shoulders are a logical extension of back or chest for men, but also stand-alone — often clients wearing tank tops or active in cycling, triathlon. Skin here is firm and tolerates higher energy without issue.
Without treating transitions, a contrast line appears. At intake we decide whether to continue into the neck base and toward the clavicle, or stay strictly on the shoulder. The goal: no visible borders, no ‘doormat’ around an untreated patch.
For phototypes IV-V we use an adapted wavelength and cooling. Especially relevant on shoulders, more sun-exposed than most other zones. Request a flash test in spring to set the right treatment window before summer.
