When a treatment is not suitable (contraindications)

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Active infection, inflammation, open wounds or skin disease in the treatment area
• Use of blood thinners or severe-acne medication without medical advice
• Autoimmune disease, uncontrolled diabetes or impaired wound healing
• Recent sunbed, sunburn or self-tanner (for laser and light-based treatments)
• Known allergy to the products used or to anaesthetics

Does the extraction hurt?

You may feel mild discomfort during extractions, but our therapists are highly trained to minimise pain. We use steam and softening techniques beforehand.

How often should I have a deep cleansing?

For oily or acne-prone skin, every 4-6 weeks. For normal skin, every 6-8 weeks as maintenance.

Will my skin be red afterwards?

Mild redness is normal and typically subsides within a few hours. We recommend no makeup for the rest of the day.

Is it suitable for acne skin?
