When a treatment is not suitable (contraindications)

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Active infection, inflammation, open wounds or skin disease in the treatment area
• Use of blood thinners or severe-acne medication without medical advice
• Autoimmune disease, uncontrolled diabetes or impaired wound healing
• Recent sunbed, sunburn or self-tanner (for laser and light-based treatments)
• Known allergy to the products used or to anaesthetics

Possible side effects

• Temporary redness, warmth or mild swelling
• Sensitivity or slight dryness during the first 24-48 hours

How does the Vampire Facial work?

We draw a small amount of blood, isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and deliver it into the skin via microneedling. The growth factors stimulate cell renewal and collagen production.

What is the downtime?

Redness and mild swelling are normal and disappear within 24-72 hours. Avoid make-up for the first 24 hours and sun for 1 week.

How many treatments are needed?

For optimal results we recommend 3 treatments with 4-6 weeks between them, followed by annual maintenance.

Is PRP safe?

Very safe, because we use your own blood. There is no risk of allergic reactions or rejection.
